Information technology professor Ljupco Kocarev was named as President of the Macedonian Academy of Arts and Sciences, replacing economics professor Taki Fiti.
Kocarev’s deputies will be Zivko Popov and Gazanfer Bajram, while Izet Zeqiri will serve as science secretary.
The Presidency of the Academy will include Katica Kulafkova, Abdulmenav Bexheti, Vladimir Serafimovski, Leonid Grcev, Gligor Jovanovski, Radovan Pavlovski and Momir Polenakovic.
