Having your picture taken with Boki 13 was an obligatory accessory by many SDSM party officials. Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, Defense Minister Radmila Sekerinska, Labour Minister Mila Carovska, ex SDSM Secretary General Aleksandar Kiracovski, Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski, they all have pictures with the flamboyant reality TV show star and newly minted TV mogul. Deputy party leader Frosina Remenski did an omage to Boki 13 at the opening of one of his “charity” events, as did Karpos Mayor Stefan Bogoev. Two SDSM officials, nicknamed “Kiki” and “Friki”, were reportedly directly involved in his extortion attempts.

Many of them are now contemplating deleting these pictures, as Boki 13 went down and took Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva with him. State prosecutors investigated Boki 13 as he allegedly extorted 1.5 million EUR from businessman Jordan Orce Kamcev, promising that in exchange he will get Janeva to go easy on him in the money laundering case she sprung on Kamcev.

The Expres news site now reports that the recordings that were made of Boki 13 in the course of this investigation reveal that he was giving valuable presents to dozens of Government and SDSM leaders.

The presents were often given to female officials, or to the wives of male officials. They were purchased with the proceeds from the racketeering Boki 13 was involved with, a matter which the recipients must have guessed is the case, Expres reports.

The site adds that the law allows prosecution of public officials who receive valuable gifts if these gifts are not registered with the Anti-Corruption Commission. In this regard, the danger that Boki 13 speaks out from the Sutka prison must be heavy on the minds of many people in SDSM, the site concludes.
