Last year Macedonia and its capital Skopje were at the bottom according to the quality of life. These are data from Numbeo.com, a database of countries around the world. Numbeo provides current and timely information on world living conditions including cost of living, housing indicators, health care, traffic, crime and pollution.
In 2018, Valencia, Ljubljana and Zagreb had the best quality of life, and Skopje was at the bottom. Before our capital city was Rome and Sarajevo.
For 2019, data for the past few months of the year show that Skopje is still at the bottom of the list of 16 countries in Southeast Europe.
And in 2017 there is no difference for Skopje and Macedonia. Only Zagreb and Valencia are not among the first three cities. In 2017, Ljubljana, Porto, Lisbon were among the top three according to the quality of life.
