A Macedonian man living in Italy and his sister are charged with abuse of the man’s 13 year old son, who suffered from epilepsy Italian media are reporting from Foggia that the man withheld necessary medication from his son, banned him from socializing and frequently beat him.

The child sustained two broken bones after a beating in January, and was eventually found with badly neglected hygiene. Social workers reported the case which eventually led to charges against the father and his sister and a restraining order for the two.
