At Thursday’s session, the government reviewed the draft law on ratification of the Treaty with Greece to open a new border crossing between the two countries, which will connect Majden in our country, with Promachoi in Greece.
The government’s press service reminds that the treaty was signed on April 2 this year in Skopje, based on the Prespa Agreement.
The treaty envisions the two countries to build, reconstruct and upgrade the respective road network on their own territory, as well as all the remaining infrastructure needed for the functioning of the border crossing, reads the government statement.
In the same direction is the adopted draft law on ratification of the Treaty for opening a border crossing in the Prespa Lake region and the roads connecting Markova Noga and Lemos.
As the Government says, this border crossing will allow greater connectivity and easier communication of the population from the border region.
