And when I say this about young people, I must also refer to the situation that every young person faces. And the truth is that Macedonia as it is, the state apparatus that manifests all the shortcomings in functioning kills all ambitions and opportunities for development, but more importantly, kills the dream and the will to progress. The reality is that crime, corruption, nepotism, protections create a quality that constantly squeezes out the quality. Even in such conditions, the young man cannot live life to the fullest, because the state shakes the progress of every free individual, said the leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski in his address at an event on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the Youth Forces Union of VMRO-DPMNE held in Prilep.

He asked what is the example that politicians show for young people, and are we aware that our everyday life in which we live is also the everyday life of young people? According to him, Raskoski’s software, Zaev’s racket, Dan Doncev’s stack of money are the lessons and examples of adults set to young people.

According to Mickoski, every spark of hope has been dismantled and trampled by the party pressures of the government for a pronounced partisanship of the society. Only in our Macedonia the party card has become stronger than the piece of paper that says Diploma for completed higher education.

The epilogue of such collective self-destruction as a state was seen with the unfortunate and incomplete census. Nearly 200,000 people sought their fortune somewhere abroad and emigrated. This phenomenon is the same wound for the young Macedonians, and for the young Albanians, and for the young Turks, Roma, Serbs, Vlacs or Bosniaks. We must stop the collective self-destruction. We must build a state that offers opportunities for young people. We must tell young people that their dream can be achieved here in their country, and that our common Macedonia is the best guarantee for the realization of their dream. The partisanship of society must be stopped once and for all, said the opposition leader.
