VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski warned that the Zaev is trying to award a contract for running private emergency medical response units to a security agency close to his family businesses. Mickoski did not name the company, and Republika won’t list it’s name, but it’s widely known in the public. Zaev’s allies in Parliament are currently trying to amend laws that would allow private companies to operate such services and be reimbursed from the public FZO healthcare fund.

It’s the same security company that is hired to protect Government offices, energy companies, you see them everywhere where there is a contract to be had. In exchange for these contracts, the company had its men sent before the VMRO-DPMNE office a little more than a year ago to hold a protest, to portray disgruntled party members. This contract is another piece of evidence that the crime and corruption continue. The outgoing Government, the outgoing Prime Minister and ministers, keep breaking the law, Mickoski said.

This latest proposal caused concerns in the public that the Zaev regime may try to fully privatize the medical ER services.
