Discussing the Law on the Use of Languages, VMRO-DPMNE MP Antonio Milososki said on the “Top tema” show that what happened now with the Venice Commission is an international slap to the SDSM-DUI coalition because it passed a law beyond European standards.
Milososki emphasized that the criticism by the Venice Commission for the use of the law on languages was sustained, stressing that the law is legally unsustainable, ie, as he said, it is a policy aimed at short-term coalition interests. According to Milososki, rarely does the Venice Commission give such harsh criticism.
He also underlined the statements of outgoing Prime Minister Zoran Zaev regarding the remarks of the Venice Commission, saying that he made three different statements in three days.
