Out of 3,294 COVID-19 tests carried out in the past 24 hours, 1,085 new cases were registered in Macedonia, marking a highest single-day count since the start of the outbreak.

New cases were registered in Skopje 447, Kumanovo 69, Debar 9, Stip 39, Prilep 60, Tetovo 62, Struga 14, Veles 50, Bitola 28, Ohrid 18, Kavadarci 20, Gostivar 35, Gevgelija 29, Strumica 80, Kriva Palanka 10, Radovis 9, Krusevo 3, Kocani 13, Probistip 10, Demir Hisar 2, Makedonski Brod 1, Berovo 2, Valandovo 6, Vinica 4, Delcevo 10, Kratovo 4, Sveti Nikole 5, Kicevo 30, Resen 4, Negotino 12.

12 people died, including three patients from Skopje (aged 67, 68 and 52), one from Kumanovo (aged 27), three from Prilep (aged 81, 82 and 49), two patients from Tetovo (aged 87 and 77), one from Bitola (aged 84), one from Kavadarci (aged 67) and one patient from Gostivar (aged 65).

The Public Health Institute registered today 283 recovered patients from all over the country.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 31,572 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 20,731 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 994. At the moment, there are 9,847 active cases across the country.
