Macedonia registered one of the worst death tolls of the epidemic today, with 41 deaths. Skopje had 17 deaths, Gostivar and Ohrid 4 and Bitola and Strumica 3 each. The ages of the deceased ranged from 49 to 91. This brings the total death toll to 1,699.

The Healthcare Ministry also reported 1,022 newly diagnosed cases out of 3,127 tests. Skopje has 463 new cases, Prilep 68 and Gostivar 66. There are currently 21,519 active cases across the country.
