By submitting more than 3,000 amendments, the opposition in Parliament is practically blocking the amendments to the Rules of Procedure proposed by Speaker Talat Xhaferi, in order to bypass the problems with the quorum due to the covid crisis.

The opposition parties VMRO-DPMNE, Alliance and Alternativa and Levica have joined forces to prevent the adoption of the amendments to the Rules of Procedure, which stipulate that MPs who are isolated due to Covid-19 can join the work of Parliament online.
