The whole country has raised the level of protection to the highest possible due to the attack on Ukraine, and rising threats of cyber attacks are expected in the coming period due to which special measures have been taken, Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani said on Sunday, adding that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs even before the escalation of the situation in Ukraine was the target of an attempted cyber attack.

We had a situation before the escalation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was the target of such an attempt of cyber attack and it shows that there will be such hybrid threats, in terms of targeting cyber, ie digital infrastructure. Now they will probably be even bigger and that is why all emergency measures are being taken. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already taken those measures, and previously the whole country raised the level of protection to the highest possible, said Osmani.
