The outgoing prime minister on Tuesday again mentioned the possibility of postponing the elections scheduled for April 12. This time, Zaev said the reason was that the Parliament should pass several essential laws.

Possible blocking of the adoption of essential laws in the Parliament could cause a delay in the elections, Zaev explained.

Zaev is due to resign on January 3 when the interim government is to take office.
