SDSM presidential candidate Stevo Pendarovski accepted the challenge to debate VMRO-DPMNE candidate Gordana Siljanovska, but insisted that this happens only after April 1st.

Siljanovska has been prodding Pendarovski to stop hiding from a debate and face the first female presidential candidate of a major political party. She took to Twitter to post invitations to Pendarovski from across the country, and even invited him to a debate when their schedules overlapped in Ohrid over the weekend. “Don’t worry, Pendarovski avoided me”, she added.

Pendarovski insisted that the debate takes place only after the official start of the campaign, meaning in April.
