The visit of the President of Montenegro, Milo Djukanovic, is official, and according to the strict protocol rules it includes a ceremony of laying flowers in memory of important figures from our history by the guest, but not by the President, the Office of Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski informed.

The act of laying flowers on Goce Delcev’s grave by President Djukanovic restores the tradition that was broken several years ago. Instead of this tradition, a practice was introduced to lay flowers at sites promoting the Skopje 2014 project.

According to Pendarovski’s Office, according to the official protocol, the Macedonian delegation, which accompanied President Djukanovic, included: Minister Zorica Apostolska, Macedonia’s Ambassador to Montenegro, Mihajlo Trpkoski and Foreign Policy Adviser to the president, Ambassador Goce Karajanov.
