I strongly condemn the military actions that Russia is taking against Ukraine, which will unavoidably lead to irreparable human loss and material damage, said Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski.

Russian invasion on Ukraine is an attack on the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, blatant violation of the basic principles of international law, attack on the democratic order and a threat to the stability of Europe.Being a NATO member we join the Alliance’s call on Russia to end the military actions on Ukraine’s territory. On behalf of the citizens of Macedonia, I express solidarity with the Ukrainian people in these difficult times.
