Stevo Pendarovski presented his presidential staff today, and appointed Erol Musliu as head of the Intelligence Agency.

Pendarovski approached Blerim Reka, who was the candidate of the Albanian opposition parties, to join his team, but Reka refused. His votes were seem as crucial in helping Pendarovski beat the opposition presidential candidate Gordana Siljanovska – Davkova – with nearly all Albanians who came out voting for Pendarovski, he was able to overturn Siljanovska’s comfortable winning margin among ethnic Macedonians.

Pendarovski took over Zaev’s spokesman Mile Bosnjakovski and appointed him as his chief of staff. Aleksandar Spasov will be his domestic and foreign policy adviser, Blerim Kollari will advise him on security issues while former judge Mirjana Lazarevska Trajkovska and Besa Arifi will advise Pendarovski on legal issues.

Two former foreign affairs ministers, Denko Maleski and Aleksandar Dimitrov will be outside foreign policy advisers, a role also taken by ambassador Goce Karajanov.
