Police entered into the offices of the 1TV station today, and seized the computer that Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva’s son Lazar Janev was using.

Prosecutors said that the main focus of the search was the office of the owner of the TV station – Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13. Boki 13’s personal computer was also seized.

Boki 13 was charged today with blackmailing businessman Jordan Orce Kamcev and extorting 1.5 million EUR from him by promising him that he’ll get his friend, Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva, to drop her charges against Kamcev. Boki 13 is not only personally close to Janev but he also hired her son Lazar Janev in his recently founded 1TV station.

Katica Janeva resigned today, shortly after the news of Boki 13’s arrest broke, and she was ordered to hand over her phones to the police. Janeva reportedly told the police that she “lost” one of her phones.
