The “anti-crisis” measures of the government led by SDSM and DUI are overdue and will not be enough to overcome the crisis. These measures will not drastically help the companies nor will they improve the standard of the citizens, said VMRO-DPMNE.
The opposition party criticizes the government for taking 12 days to accept VMRO-DPMNE’s proposals to reduce VAT on basic foodstuffs and reduce the excise tax on oil products.
Although Kovacevski, Pendarovski and the entire government knew 4 months ago that the country was going to face a crisis, they did not lift a finger to take measures that would prevent this economic crisis. The government does not want to give up unproductive spending, as well as spending money on luxuries to help citizens and companies. While Kovacevski brags on social networks about his incompetence and unemployment, the prices in the markets are increasing day by day, and the citizens are barely making ends meet. In the past few weeks we have seen the same pictures in the shops, gas stations as in the time of transition in the 90s of the last century. The consequences of the transition were thousands of citizens who lost their jobs, as well as hundreds of closed factories, the citizens see repetition of the events of the 90s, said VMRO-DPMNE.
