Starting today, restaurants and bars will have to close at 21h, and will only be able to issue food for take-out a few hours after that. Restaurants operating in hotels and at the Skopje and Ohrid airports will be exempt from this restriction.
Citizens are banned from gathering in public in groups of four or more after 21h. Citizens are also urged not to be out after 21h, unless they have an urgent, immediate need to do so, the Government declared yesterday, in its latest decree meant to reduce the coronavirus spike.
Although the Parliament rejected a proposal from the Government to ban home parties and gatherings with more than four visitors, the Government issued an advisory warning to the citizens to avoid such events.
