Russia has declared a Macedonian diplomat persona non grata, the Russian Foreign Ministry said, in response to Macedonia’s decision to declare a Russian diplomat persona non grata in May this year.

Olivera Causevska-Dimovska, acting Macedonia’s ambassador to the Russian Federation was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry on June 10, where she was handed a note declaring her a non-grata in Macedonia’s Embassy in Moscow, the ministry said in a statement.
