A Skopje judge ordered actress and political activist Silvija Stojanovska to remain in house arrest for 10 more days, following charges that she was involved in organizing a major transport of cocaine to the United Kingdom.
The shocking arrest came in December, when it was revealed that her partner Voislav Budisavljevic was one of the chief organizers in a huge haul of Colombian cocaine that was seized in a submarine off the coast of Spain. Stojanovska traveled to Spain to pick up money, reserved tickets and did other logistics for the group.
Silvija Stojanovska, the widow of famous actor Nenad Stojanovski, was an outspoken activist of the SDSM led Colored Revolution, and has acted in a USAID funded program meant to support the message of the leftist protest movement.
