Macedonia will be one of the countries in Europe that will be the last to receive Covid-19 vaccines due to the incapacity of the government, accused the lawyer Aleksandar Tortevski.

As Tortevski writes, in order to receive vaccines on time, the government should have signed an agreement on the vaccines by September 28 and pay an advance by November 9 at the latest. However, such a thing was not done within the required deadlines, and the whole response of the Macedonian institutions was to send a legally non-binding statement of interest.

The result of their incompetence will be thousands of deaths, hundreds of thousands infections and collapse, said Tortevski.
