Transportation Minister Goran Sugareski, under whose term in office construction on several vital infrastructure projects stopped entirely or was badly stalled, says he doesn’t expect to be dismissed by Zoran Zaev in the coming “operation broom”.
I honestly don’t think I will (be dismissed). But I will respect any decision the Prime Minister makes based on his analysis of my work, Sugareski said, when asked about the coming purge of ministers during an event today.
Under Sugareski, work on the Demir Kapija – Smokvica highway was stalled for over a year and the two other key highways which are being built, Skopje – Stip and Kicevo – Ohrid, ground completely to a half.
