The vote in the Macedonian Parliament to rename the country prompted a tug of war on Wikipedia, with Greek editors changing the name of the country into North Macedonia, and Macedonian ones changing it back.

More than a dozen changes were registered today and for a while the country was listed as “Republic of North Macedonia”. Ultimately the edits ended with the name still the same, and a paragraph explaining the name controversy, including the latest developments.
