Two years since the first registered Covid-19 case in the country, 8,981 people died and 296,229 got infected

Two years since the first case of Covid-19 was registered in Macedonia, a total of 295,229 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the country. The death toll stands at 8,981. At the moment, there are 4,644 active cases across the country.

According to data from the Institute of Public Health, out of 2,669 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 517 new cases were registered, 9 patients passed away and 1,022 recovered.
