Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani was invited to visit Ukraine by its Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba. Macedonia is among the three rotating chairmanship countries of OSCE, and Kuleba invited also the foreign ministers of Sweden and Poland.
Poland holds the chairmanship now, after Sweden and ahead of Macedonia which takes over in 2023. Kuleba is hoping that the mission would help determine the facts of the dire situation in eastern Ukraine where pro-Russian forces are in a stand-off with the Ukrainian army.
