The Government won’t increase salaries of public sector workers, elementary school and kindergarten teachers, and doctors, but continues to spend enormous sums of money on new luxury furniture and vehicles, said the opposition VMRO-DPMNE party in a press statement.

If we respect the collective agreement signed with the teachers, their salaries would reach 45,0000 denars. VMRO-DPMNE supports the demands of the public sector employees, since they too deserve better living standards. The Government must increase the salaries in public healthcare – low salaries there are pushing many of our doctors to leave the country, VMRO-DPMNE said.
