VMRO-DPMNE representatives blasted the proposal to have judge Dobrila Kacarska, a complete loyalist of the Zaev regime, as a new justice of the Constitutional Court.
Kacarska is being rewarded by Zaev after presiding over a number of high profile trials aimed at opposition officials, chief among which was the 27 April trial used by Zaev to pressure three members of Parliament to vote in favor of the imposed name change. Kacarska’s proposal was presented before Parliament with just minimal elaboration and the representatives of the Judicial Council did not come to defend it.
It’s as if we are picking a second league football judge. We only have her verdicts and basic data listed before us, no reviews, positive or negative. It is unbelivable that such nominations can be made in our country, said Nikola Micevski, the head of the VMRO-DPMNE group in Parliament.
