In his address in Vienna, talking about the European perspective in the region and why Macedonia should get a date for negotiations, Prime Minister Zaev emphasized that EU member states have similar problems as ours. According to Zaev, Poland and Hungary have problems with the rule of law and internal problems and that he mentions them transparently.

We want to be part of Europe because we believe in European values. Sometimes we may have more faith in those European values than some member states. I mention transparently, countries like Poland, Hungary where they have problem with the rule of law and other internal problems, said the prime minister.
