Day five since the announced resignation of Prime Minister and SDSM leader Zoran Zaev he still hasn’t deposited the resignation to the Parliament, where VMRO-DPMNE is reportedly launching proceedings for a vote of no confidence. Zaev has also avoided public appearances.

In the meantime, his SDSM party said that when he resigns, the entire party leadership will automatically resign with him. This comes after one of his top officials, head of the Oversight Board Goran Sugareski, today announced his resignation.

Alongside with Zaev, the party leadership is working to reach solutions and decisions that will reorganize SDSM with the only goal to serve the people at the highest possible level, and remain the leading party in the parliamentary majority that will maintain a reform and progressive course for the country, the party said in a statement.
