Wednesday is the second day of mourning after the bus accident at the Struma highway in Bulgaria that claimed the lives of 45 passengers, with seven others injured. An investigation is underway into the accident after the Macedonian bus caught fire on the Sofia – Blagoevgrad highway. According to initial information from the investigating authorities in Bulgaria, there were a total of 52 passengers on the bus, of which 45 died and seven were hospitalized at the Sofia Clinic. Of those killed, 12 were children.

On Tuesday, the Macedonian government declared three days of mourning nationwide for the victims of the tragic bus accident in Bulgaria. A day of mourning for the victims of the bus accident has been declared Wednesday in both Bulgaria and Kosovo.
