Russia announced that it is introducing reciprocal visa regimes with the “unfriendly countries” – meaning the EU member states and countries like Macedonia that introduced sanctions against Russia.

Macedonia hardened its visa restrictions against Russian citizens after the start of the war in Ukraine. Now, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the reciprocal steps are justified, since these countries have obviously started a “hybrid war” against Russia.
