Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Krasimir Karakachanov said that if North Macedonia wants to become a full member of NATO and the European Union must fulfill the commitments it has made in the agreements with Bulgaria and Greece, Bulgarian media report.

In a statement for the Bulgarian radio “Fokus”, Karakachanov stressed that the Treaty of good neighborly relations Macedonia signed with Bulgaria, as well as the agreement reached with Greece, provides for the removal of all irredentist issues, including, as he said, the false information contained in the school textbooks in the last seven decades.
