Farmers may be facing record low prices of many cash crops, like apples, but Agriculture Minister Ljupco Nikolovski has the best people on the case.

He took social media personality and self styled influencer Ljupka Mitrova to the national agriculture fair in Brno, Slovakia. Despite her best instincts, Mitrova could not resist posting glam photos of herself and Nikolovski in Brno, in the time she had available between working hard to secure new markets for Macedonian farmers.

 

The fact that she is the god-daughter of Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, and her father Goran Mitov is also Zaev’s business partner, only underlines Mitova’s expertise in the field. Farmers eager to hear about new markets being opened for their products can now use Mitova’s Instagram feed to follow the Minister’s itinerary.

Not that Nikolovski needs much help to appear clueless and out of step with farmers – he recently bragged how he makes sure he gets a new pair of pricey sneakers during all his official trips.
