There are serious indications that after the local elections, Macedonia expects the formation of a new parliamentary majority and a new government, Zeqirja Ibrahimi, a member of the Central Presidency of the Albanian opposition party Alternative, told the Albanian-language newspaper Lajm.

With this, he denied the rumors that Alternative is joining the Government of Zoran Zaev. Ibrahimi said that “these speculations are being released by the government, due to the great loss it is experiencing in these local elections, reports Express.

Asked how he commented on the statement of the DPA leader that Alternative is joining the Government of Zaev, Zeqirja Ibrahimi answered:

I have nothing to comment on unimportant things that are said during the campaign. This does not help the government in the fatal loss, which is happening in this election. The Alternative’s coalition with the Alliance for the Albanians works in the best way. We have no issues.

Asked by Lajm whether it is certain that a new parliamentary majority will be formed, announced by Mickoski, Ibrahimi said: “Nothing is certain in this world. But there are serious indications that after the second round of local elections, a new parliamentary majority and a new government await Macedonia.
