Goran Cekov, Macedonia’s ambassador to Japan, has been withdrawn after a sexual harassment scandal against two women that worked in the embassy.

Sources in the Foreign Ministry told Expres.mk that the Ministry and President Pendarovski, who is considered close to Cekov, decided to withdraw the ambassador after the incident. A disciplinary procedure in the Ministry left him with just five days to leave the post.
