Several members of the Zaev Government were named in the testimony of businessman Jordan Orce Kamcev.

Kamcev said that he reported the extortion thatws being carried out against him by Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva to Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, who told him to report the case to the prosecutors, but then continued to push for Janeva’s appointment to be made permanent. Kamcev added that Defense Minister Radmila Sekerinska was also being name-dropped by Janeva’s associate Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13, who carried a picture of himself with Sekerinska and used it as evidence of his ties with the top SDSM party leadership. Kamcev also named Healthcare Minister Venko Filipce as a person who was present during one of his meetings with Boki 13, but did not reveal additional details about his role.

Following the trial, Kamcev, whose companies were raided on Thursday, a day before his hearing, insisted that no politician was directly involved in the extortion attempts against him. Kamcev allowed that in the other extortion attempts carried out by Boki 13, such as through a bogus charity he was using, may have involved politicians.
