The joint press conference of Boyko Borisov and Zoran Zaev in Sofia, which was digitally joined by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, did not answer the main question – whether Bulgaria will allow Macedonia to start negotiations with the EU.

It seems that Zaev received another big “NO” from Borisov over the accession negotiations because if there was a confirmation, it would have been announced immediately in a big way.

Borisov spoke about the commitment to the development of the Western Balkans, Zaev asked them to seize the chance, and Merkel finally told them that they must agree.
