Macedonian singer Tamara Todevska left out the verses mentioning the names of Goce Delchev, Pitu Guli and Jane Sandanski during her performance of the national anthem at the US Embassy event. According to the government of North Macedonia, this is an “unintentional mistake”, the Bulgarian media reported today, citing “Sloboden pecat”. They also reminded that in the interest of time, according to the official explanation from the government, the national anthem was left out of the Tsipras welcoming ceremony.
Tamara performance, though not nearly as in the domestic public, stirred up the Bulgarian social networks. Under the news published by DNES.bg, for example, the Bulgarian people made many comments about the origin of Goce Delcev, but also about the intellectual abilities of Tamara.
