The Commission for Infectious Diseases recommends lifting the mask mandate in high schools.
The Commission’s spokesman Dr. Zlate Mehmedovic noted that the epidemiological situation is getting better, and number of hospitalizations is dropping.
He also added that the Commission is also recommending to allow the organization of excursions for students in secondary and primary schools.
As of today, students in primary schools are not required to wear face masks. However, the mask mandate still applies to teachers and the school administration.
