I am appalled and I strongly condemn the verbal, and then the physical incident in the Skopje prison. Violence is not and should not be a means of communication anywhere, nor in prisons. I asked for full information from the prison authorities, but I also expect all competent institutions to professionally and responsibly clarify the case and then initiate procedures for sanctioning the perpetrators of violence, but also for those who have not taken measures to prevent such situations, Justice Minister Renata Deskoska wrote Thursday on Facebook following the incident at the Shutka prison in Skopje.
