Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte landed in Skopje, as part of his tour of the region. Rutte was welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister Nikola Dimitrov at the airport, and then by outgoing (?) Prime Minister Zoran Zaev in front of the Government building.
Rutte’s visit coincides with the vote of no confidence in the Zaev Government that is scheduled for tomorrow. Zaev said that he will resign on his own after his SDSM party lost badly in the local elections, but yesterday said that he is “postponing” his decision in an attempt to keep his coalition together.
