A decision to hold the elections on April 12 was officially signed by Talat Xhaferi this evening, after the Parliament voted to dissolve.

Due to pressure from the ruling SDSM party, the Parliament dissolved four days late, intruding into the 60 days deadline provided in the Constitution, which may affect the conduct of the elections if anything goes wrong.
