Supreme Court judge Faik Arslani has been elected Acting President of the Supreme Court, immediately after the dismissal of Jovo Vangelovski. At Tuesday’s session, the Judicial Council dismissed Vangelovski as President of the Supreme Court. The decision for his dismiss is due to unprofessional and reckless conduct.

The court considered Vangelovski’s dismissal behind closed doors.

In addition to Vangelovski, two other judges were dismissed. The dismissed judges, together with Vangelovski, have the right to appeal to the Supreme Court on the decision of the Judicial Council.
