Strumica police had to investigate a false bomb threat on Saturday evening, when the city was celebrating its annual carnival.

Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and many of his ministers were in town for the festivities when the police received a phone call threatening that a bomb is planted in a shopping mall, which was determined to be a false threat. The caller was identified as a 32 year old man from Kocani.
