Famous singer Elena Risteska spoke out against the repeated arrests, the beating and harassment of former Minister Mile Janakieski, who is currently under a hunger strike in the Sutka prison near Skopje.
I can’t add anything to the powerful words you wrote, Elena commented on a widely shared post by Janakieski’s wife Sanja, who warned the public of the poor health situation her husband is in.
– I’ve witnessed many good deeds by Mile, often to people he didn’t even know. I’ve never met a person like that and I feel very strongly for you Sanja. You both have golden souls. I’ve never cared for politics, and if I could be blind to it I would be happiest. But unfortunately I see and hear what’s happening. Hug your children from me and stay strong, Risteska wrote in response to Sanja Janakieski’s post.
