Two children were found alone in a car parked in Skopje’s Novo Lisice neighborhood on Wednesday. The police, after citizens’ alerted, removed them from the vehicle and took them to the Clinical Center in Skopje. Eyewitnesses told Republika that the children were alone in the car and crying, while their father was in a church near the parking lot for the Assumption of Mary Day celebration. The children were scared, exhausted, and begged for help. Passers-by heard them and approached to help. According to the eyewitnesses, the parents of the children were divorced, and the father was taking care of them that day. Police have already confirmed the case.
On August 28, around 21:50 h at the Skopje police department, it was reported that two children were locked in an Alpha vehicle with Skopje license plates parked in a parking lot on the Vidoe Smilevski Bato Boulevard. The police officers immediately intervened and the children were taken out of the vehicle and transported to the Mother Teresa Clinic Complex by ambulance, the Interior Ministry informed.
Following the measures taken by the police officers, they found TT (44) and MN (35), the parents of the children. Police have informed the public prosecutor of the case and are working on resolving the case.
