The fire that was threatening the historic village of Gari, near Debar, has been put under control.

Dzetan Miftarovski, head of the Debar firefighting brigade, informs that the village is not under threat any more. A short rain that fell yesterday helped the efforts of the firefighters. Total of 70 hectares ere on fire, mostly with low woods and dry meadows.
