Ljubomir Josifovski, a former member of Parliament for the SDSM led ruling coalition, was questioned by the police today on the curious charge that he hacked into the Central Registry.

Josifovski was interrogated for full nine hours, he said, but didn’t disclose additional details about the case, except for saying that he used the services of the registry for his IT company Infogrup. The Central Registry registers companies and processes any changes in information, and it allows various forms of access to its users.

The Registry said that they have noticed an intrusion into their computer system, and alerted the police. No data was stolen, the public agency added.

Josifovski was a member of Parliament for the small NSDP party, which is allied with SDSM.
